e-cerv (now Aptela) presented with Best New Telework Product Award from the Telework Coalition
(September 24, 2003)
e-cerv (now Aptela, Inc.) has been awarded the “Best New Telework Product” from the Telework Coalition (TelCoa) for its innovative, full featured, virtual telephone system called Aptela. These awards recognize outstanding contributors, organizations and products in the field of Telework & Telecommuting.
e-cerv (now Aptela, Inc.), www.aptela.com, received one of 15 awards presented today by The Telework Coalition, TelCoa, an organization that studies, develops, and recommends tools, techniques, and processes that promote the benefits of telework and enhance it’s adoption.
“We selected the e-cerv (now Aptela) service for this year’s award in the Best New Product category.” according to Chuck Wilsker, TelCoa’s Executive Director. “We happened across it in our search for a phone service for our own use that would enable us to work independent of location but stay connected while utilizing the features of a corporate grade PBX. Now, we couldn’t imagine being without it.”
“We are very proud and honored to receive this recognition,” said Howard Freidman CEO of e-cerv (now Aptela, Inc.). “We worked hard to develop the e-cerv (now Aptela) product and listen to our users as we continually upgrade it. Our growing customer base will attest to the benefits available to businesses from small to large who not only want to extend their in-house communications capabilities to their remote workers, but also do not want to invest in a system that will become obsolete.”
Freidman adds, “e-cerv (now Aptela, Inc.) has always been an ardent supporter of the benefits of telework, telecommuting, and work independent of location to organizations, their employees, and society in general. We have employees who work in different states and it’s as if they’re in the next office, thanks to today’s technological advances.”
