==Downloading and Installing==

Before downloading, be sure your computer meets the minimum system requirements:
- Windows 2000, Service Pack 3 or greater
- Microsoft Outlook 2000 or later

To install, download the .exe file to an easily accessible location (such as the desktop) and double-click on it. Then, follow the instructions in the setup process. The default installation directory is "C:\Program Files\Aptela\Click to Connect".

==Using Click to Connect==

Upon opening Outlook, you will notice a new "Aptela" button attached to your toolbar. However, in order to start dialing contacts, you must first enter your group name, user name, and password in the Aptela pane of the Options window, accessible through Tools>Options>Aptela.

Once you have saved your information, click on the "Contacts" tab of your main Outlook interface. From here, you may select the contact(s) you wish to call. To place a call, click on a contact to select it, and then click on the "Aptela" button. If the contact has multiple numbers, you may select which one you wish to dial in the ensuing dialogue. You will receive a callback shortly that will connect you to your requested number.

==Uninstalling==

To uninstall the plug-in, navigate to the "Add/Remove Programs" utility in your system's control panel. Select the "Aptela Outlook Plugin 1.x" entry and click "Remove".

==Known Issues==

Below are a few known issues related to the plug-in:

• If you customize your Outlook user interface by moving the Aptela button to a new location and then uninstall the plug-in, the inactive button will stay in it's new location. In order to remove the button, you can manually drag it out of the interface, deleting it permanently.
  
• International dialing is possible, but numbers must adhere to strict formatting conventions. Try entering the number in your Aptela Click to Connect list in the web portal to get the proper formatting before setting the number in a contact.
